Healthy Homemade Hazelnut Chocolate Spread
Did you know you can make a healthy version of this chocolate hazelnut spread using just six simple ingredients?
There's just something about the combination of roasted hazelnuts and chocolate for me. I could eat it by the spoonful. And with this version, it's a little more acceptable to do so!
Great for toast or as part of a lunchbox treat. Here's the recipe for our Healthy Homemade Hazelnut Chocolate Spread:
Ingredients:
1 cup roasted hazelnuts
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
a pinch of pink salt
40g coconut sugar
2 tsp coconut oil
Instructions:
Pop the hazelnuts into a foos processor and process until the texture looks spreadable.
Add the vanilla, cacao powder and salt and blend to mix.
Add in the coconut sugar and coconut oil and blend again.
Et Voila! Pour into a jar and keep in the fridge.
